Since September 15, more than 150 thousand people have used the right to choose a polyclinic - FSMS
In Kazakhstan, the annual campaign for attachment to polyclinics, which took place from September 15 to November 15, has ended.
During this period, more than 150 thousand people took advantage of the right to freely choose a medical organization, 76 thousand of them were attached to the clinic for the first time.
Over 132 thousand of Kazakhstanis preferred private PHC facilities, the remaining 20 thousand - state-owned.
“Based on the results of the attachment campaign, taking into account the distribution of the population, the volume of financing of medical organizations for the next year will be formed. Therefore, citizens who have changed the clinic will be able to receive assistance in it for guaranteed medical care and compulsory health insurance from January 1, 2021. Until that time, they will be served in the previous medical organization, ”the press service of the Social Health Insurance Fund explained.
At the same time, more than 169 thousand citizens do not belong to any polyclinic in the country.
In total, 521 PHC facilities participated in the attachment campaign: 296 state organizations and 225 private ones. All of them are registered in the Healthcare Subjects Database.
As a reminder, the attachment campaign is not the only opportunity to change the clinic. This can be done once a year by the right of free choice, as well as if a person has changed his place of permanent or temporary residence, work or study, moved to another locality, or if the polyclinic where he belonged was reorganized or liquidated, etc. .d.
